Bumblebee

Routine blood tests first thing this morning, followed by a routine appointment at Saffron Walden hospital. Then we had a snack before coming home. An Algernon of cross stitch, while there are not too many jobs to do.
 
Today’s picture is of a Bumblebee gathering pollen from the Hellebores. I also saw a Comma Butterfly, but it did not stay around long enough to be photographed.

Temperature today.  Frost again this morning, but it was nine degrees by noon.
