Daffodils

I'm staying with my friend in Yorkshire for the night. The daffs are opening. It feels hopeful.  We had a nice walk. 

We saw two birds flying low over a field and they sounded like a video game. The merlin app told me they are lapwing. They are bigger then I thought, I've only seen them from a distance.

Now we have opened a bottle of red and are talking plants and plans for my new garden.
