Outdoor Mural

Last summer, a new neighbor went on a tree removal rampage and took down 5 or 6 trees. There were several resulting casualties. This fence was old, but when it no longer had trees above it, it looked sad and shabby.
I thought painting a mural might liven it up, so in Pollock style, I took some house paint and old brushes and went to town on it.
Now, when I step out the side door, it makes me smile. I still mourn the loss of those trees, as will the birds who have nested in them every year once they return. Cue music...they paved paradise, put up a parking lot.
