Whatever other boys can do...

A gorgeous Saturday started with the sun out giving the impression of being warm despite the frosty sheen on the car windows. But I'm a sucker! So, I got my shorts on for a blast around the Quarry parkrun in 22:10.
Once that was done it was home and attempting to recharge my solar batteries by washing both cars, ably assisted (for one door at least) by my young padawan, and relieving the garden of some of the branches left behind last week and generally tidying it up. 
Still sunny mid afternoon Owen and me ventured out to a park we'd never been to before for a bit of a play with some local kids (Owen, not me) and a go on the swing. Fascinated after watching some other boy standing up on the swing, Owen had to try it. Just look at how proud of himself he is.

It was so nice to be out and feel some warmth from the sun. I know it won't last long so better make the most of it for now.
