A lowly pheasant
I'm off heading up to the Wirral to meet with some other photographers for the Spring inundation of the river Dee. While the tide is forecast to be about 10m (which is good) the very high pressure we currently have could well put the lid on the flood that would normally be expected. If the whole of the estuary doesn't flood then the bird activity will be correspondingly significantly reduced. We shall just have to wait and see what the next few days bring - I have my fingers crossed.
Cathy kept me company on the way up, I detoured to the east of Manchester to drop her off with her brother and sister-in law - she's going to enjoy a weekend with them while I stand about trying to take pictures of birds :-)
