A Nativity play in the Chalice Well gardens

Members of the Mid-Somerset Camera Club were invited to photograph the dress rehearsal of a play about the life and work of Miss Alice Buckton, 1867-1944, who bought the Chalice Well buildings and grounds in Glastonbury just before World War I and used them as an important cultural centre. The nativity play was originally put on by students attending one of her many courses.
