We have new gardeners on the estate, they seem to be adopting a 'burnt earth' policy and whilst things may look tidy and neat l hope they survive.  One thing which caught my eye, in the cleared undergrowth, was the bottom of this Victorian street lamp.  It was covered in green moss with bits of the black paint peeled off revealing some red paint.
