Another Natal Coral Tree
It is going crazy since it’s been repotted in a bigger pot. Michael found a small seedling in a botanical garden we visited in October last year. One of many coming up in the mulch under the parent tree. Hoping we can avoid frost damage this winter and keep the growing tip strong. It is loving the summer sun!
One of the 2 Guinea fowl keets (the last lammertjies from the incubator) was eaten by a goanna yesterday. Michael has dispatched the goanna when it came back for the next meal today. Only one left now and it is currently living with the Bronzewing Michael saved and is still feeding. Hoping they can keep each other company.
Cyclone Alfred is nearing Brisbane and expected to make landfall on Thursday. Candice is prepping for the worst in her small flat while hoping it will all fizzle out. Reports are that the Queenslanders are all out enjoying the high surf while they can.
