Pharmacy supplies

 I slept quite well waking up at 5am for more painkillers. This has been sore since I woke up from the operation, and Paracetamol wasn’t really touching it yesterday, but today feels a bit better. I’m alternating ice packs on the wound as well.
Mr F went off to the pharmacy with my prescription for dressings, cleaning lotions, painkillers and anti clotting injections, and I’m pretty much resigned to doing nothing, which is hard for me! I’m not a good patient and am impatient to get going again, but it’s my first time having abdominal surgery, and it’s making me slow down at last!
I’m supposed to have the nurse come to the house to give injections and clean and dress my wound every day, but I’m not having any of that! I’ll do it myself, and I might even take out my own stitches next week, but I’ll make that decision nearer the time!
