Snow? On Ailsa Craig

The near complete cloud cover had a hole in it, flooding Ailsa Craig with light. The reflected light shone like snow to my eyes on the shore. 5 minutes later,  the clouds had closed and the spectacle disappeared like the mythical town of Bonnie Doon. (I think that's what it was called)
