Sunrise...

It was all hands on deck today to get the house ready for a friend's visit. It was the first time anyone had stayed overnight. It was actually a pancake day tradition. But now we can't easily do it on Shrove Tuesday as we've moved too far away for our friend to visit after work.

We didn't want to end this so made it a weekend near to the date. The tradition always starts with veggie chilli and end with pancakes. There's a fair amount of sipping of wine too...

And it's lovely to catch up with our friend too.
