First hill a steep heathery cracker with Scots pine all around the summit cairn.

A woodland track through some cracking big trees , then onto open ridge up onto a craggy summit, good views all around. Lunch by a big cairn.

Different descent to meet track, a couple of roe deer disturbed.

Treacle scones at car then tea and shopping in Braemar.

Very funny journey home discussing the list of significant islands in Britain and some new challenges ahead.

Dinner made.

Quiet night.

Dog walk awaits.
