Undistinguished

Bank holiday although with the launch of the Nice Way Code there was a real danger of spending the whole day watching it being ridiculed and tossing in the few little bombs I could come up with. Credit to them - they're still digging away making a bigger hole for themselves.

Out meant a trip to the furniture recycling place with some unsold stuff from Mandy's car boot sale then to the dump with the car seat the recycling place wouldn't take and then on to Glenrothes. Ten years we've lived here and I've never felt the need to go to Glenrothes but it seemed to have an outdoors manufacturer's factory shop and sure enough it did and very nice winter trousers for cycling.

We also drove by the community hall that we tried to buy in Leslie. A bigger dump than when we offered the Church of Scotland £20k for it. Shame really. Nice building just decaying. And I reversed the car into a big stone pillar. Joy. Not much damage. A bit scuffed.
