Experimenting success

Tuesdays pattern cutting day, and I am trying to replicate an old ‘designers at Debenhams’ dress which has a pleated trim. I know I can do it successfully manually, but thought I’d have a go in making a template. It worked! 
I took it along to the pattern cutting class and they were all most impressed. now I just have to make one the right size!
