Another birthday celebration

After enjoying my last year birthday present yesterday at the cheese barge, today I enjoyed one for this year, even though my birthday isn’t until Sunday. A&S took us to their local padel court in Rye, and we played a few games there before heading to the Globe for a delicious lunch. The photo is taken from the back of the tennis club where the padel court is, showing the Rother on another lovely sunny day.
After lunch we went to A&S’ house for tea and cake and then headed home.
I am in favour of these birthday weeks.
