Headed to town early to meet Gerge and Amy. There was a Lego pirate trail in town so we walked round and ticked off all of the little quests. Stopped for brunch in Costa and had a little look in some shops, then home to carry on decorating.

Did lots of skirting board sanding and I made the mistake of picking off a little bit of paint from the door. The first few bits peeled off so nicely… then suddenly we were an hour into hacking off tiny little bits. Oops.

Final coat of the new colour then skirting and window surround with gloss. Instantly so much brighter.

I made dinner which was a bit of a disaster - my foolproof focaccia didn’t rise and my orzo was accidentally incredibly spicy. Oops again.
