Granny's etched glass globe

I've been carrying Granny's glass light cover around with me for years. Yes, this was tucked in the barn for the last 8 years along with so much of my stuff. It doesn't fit on any light fixtures but Jim had the great idea of stuffing it with mini fairy lights that are remote controlled. This is on top of my built in kitchen corner shelf. The extra is a close up of the glass so you can see the etchings.
The real exciting thing today was when I turned on the outside light this morning and the kitty came out of the box!! Hurray... I'm hoping she now uses it regularly.
