So, on arrival at mum's last night, as I was chatting on the phone to Pierre, I noticed a tortoise walking up the side of the road. Yes, that's right, a TORTOISE.

So, fed and watered him/her and kept it in the courtyard for the night.

Mum put up a couple of posters in Mirabel this morning as it may well be that some poor family have lost their beloved pet. Hopefully we'll get a call.

Brought the tortoise over to Les Pilles after doing Vaison this morning with Paddy. This is Ziza and him/her on the terrace this afternoon :) Ziza did not know what to make of this new creature in her territory. It was a right laugh watching her trying to work out what it was!

Took Coquine and Leo for a walk round to the shop and then dad took the two dogs down to the garden and for a dip in the river.

Ziza has recovered from her head injury - it's still pretty prominent, but seems to be healing well.

We have a right menagerie at the house now!

2 dogs: Coquine - who's just visiting for a few days - and Leo
1 cat: Ziza
1 tortoise: Speedy
