Farewell

Said goodbye to Em and Ols today and waved them off on the ferry back to South Island. We will see Ols again tomorrow but probably won’t see Em till they are back in the UK later in the year.
It’s been a lovely week with them.
So that left MrKT and I on Stewart Island for one more hunt for kiwi. Apparently there are 20000 on the island but they are pretty elusive- and nocturnal. We have refused to pay a tour guide to lead us to some, and as a result we haven’t seen any!
