Well … at least it worked when an idiot crew member pulled the handle!

The result was all the passengers had to disembark and wait for hours to be told that only half could get back on.

Of course, that didn’t include us. Lufthansa rebooked us to fly Finnair via Helsinki with an overnight stop, while our luggage flew off via Frankfurt.
