Geocaching around Wavertree
I went on the train to do part of a set that's been out for some time. I never fancied the series because all of the caches are nanos or only slightly bigger. Nanos are smaller than thimbles and are difficult when you have old, arthritic fingers. They can be irritating.
I decided to do some of them because my geocaching pals are unable to go caching with me this week. I had 16 caches on my list and a loop-like walk. The result was 10 finds and 6 DNFs (did not finds) which is not a good ratio! I can't even say well the walk was nice because it wasn't! However, it did get me out and about, exercising.
The main photo is something I spotted between geocaches and so I went over to investigate. It's a boundary marker and on the top of it it says "Erected by the overseers 1868" so that was interesting - actually the most interesting thing I saw.
The extra is of the Littlewoods Building (re the Football Pools).
