The Granta magazines were picked up this morning by a couple who were thrilled to have them. Result! I was unable to palm off any books on them, but I gave them some issues of Slightly Foxed as well. In a more expensive move, in the late afternoon we went to the garage to pick up the mended Fiat and hand over a four-figure sum. "It's nowhere near as expensive as a new car!" Michel pointed out. True, plus if we did want to replace it, it would have been worthless in the condition it was in. "Should be good for a few years," he reassured us.

Back home and straight out again to gym. There were only five of us, but we worked hard. Yesterday's more entertaining evening is backblipped.
