Good heavens!
Another lazy day but I am now self sufficient enough that David was able to play golf locally, with his Wednesday Golf Buddies. The weather wasn't great but that didn't stop them.
Meanwhile I made my lunch, spent some time in the studio playing with my new paper then feet up and some crochet. Three projects on the go, and when the merino yarn arrives for my friend's granddaughter's baby blanket, that will be four. Well it saves the boredom setting in :-)
Tesco order was done early then messaged Lauren to tell her what colour of nail polish I am after. Looking forward to getting my nails done tomorrow and welcoming Blip Pal Trisha for coffee and cake :-)
My pain medication is much reduced too. Now only having some paracetamol when I get up and a couple more before I go to bed. I've left the dressing off the small section of my wound that was leaking as it looks much better. Might put a small dressing on overnight and re-check in the morning. I can also now sleep on both my sides AND on my back, which was impossible when the massive fibroid was squishing all my organs, including my lungs. Much more freedom now :-))
Spent some time with Alan this evening. He was watching Mamma Mia and his fabulous ceiling light projector was doing its thing. It's amazing. He has another one in his bedroom and loves lying in bed looking at the different configurations. I am seriously thinking of buying one for our bedroom. Mesmerising!
And in other exciting news, we've booked a week's break next May in a fabulous house at Ardmair near Ullapool. We stumbled across it accidentally when booking the fabulous house in Oban for next August, as it has the same name, just a slightly different spelling. Serendipity :-)))
Just need to get Alan and Andrew sorted with a summer holiday this year. Shall apply ourselves to that tomorrow evening.
