Birdwatching

SIL L & I went to Eardington Nature Reserve today, they have a woodland hide where we spent the morning photographing marsh tits, long tailed tits, coal tits, great tits & blue tits - no willow tits unfortunately. There were also nuthatches, tree creepers & chaffinches galore.
Later in the afternoon we went to the Severn Valley Country Park hoping to see the kingfisher but it was a no show today.
There were lots of grey squirrels chasing each other off the feeding station.
It’s been a beautiful sunny day & we’ve both enjoyed being surrounded by nature, it does the soul good to get away from the world’s troubling news for a day.
