Waterfowl

I went out for a drive today around the Sambro loop to see what birds I could find. One spot has this black guillemot. I have seen them before and usually only see one in an area, and this was the only one in the area. I also seen red breasted mergansers, scaup and long tailed ducks. In another area there were 3 eagles and a few gulls. One of the eagles was eating a fish or an eel.

It has been nice to have some quiet days. I have been working on a diamond art kit this winter, and I hope to get it finished in the next week or 10 days. I finished one jigsaw puzzle this morning and started another one this afternoon.

After a cold start to the week, the temperature rose overnight and it rained. Most of the day was cloudy, then the rain started again around 5 pm. Lots of rain in the forecast for the next couple of days. Daylight savings time begins this weekend.
