Fantastic geography

I opened my eyes partway across the country, which til then had been clouded over, to this amazing sight of a frozen lake in North Dakota. The Missouri River wanders through, west-east at that point, and the icy outlines of the water were pretty spectacular from the air. And later, the Cascades (extra)! My flight left so early in the day that we got to Seattle just after 9am - a speedy 5 hour flight, quicker than usual. It was also fun approaching Sea-Tac Airport from the north, directly over the city.

A busy day here, lots to accomplish still. It was sunny and mild, and I got outside to take a walk along the shore.
