Preparations

Beautiful sunny day again though a very chilly cycle in to work first thing.  Found a room with phone reception to work in while waiting for a pharmacist medication review appointment. All is well and they are happy for me to continue as I am. They did change my asthma inhalers as apparently there's been a new nhs guideline issued recently. I'll now only have one type. 
Went for a walk with L in the sunshine. Scoffed my lunch and then gave the research communication team an introduction to a tool that may help them build stories around the university's research. I think they left with minds blown about the data available and lots of ideas of things they want to explore. 
Had to make a swift exit as the hairdresser had arrived early at home and was running out of heads. I made it back at full tilt just in time. 
I did borrow some maps ready for our escape next week. Although we tend to use the OS app when we are out, the maps are still useful to pore over and plan walks and are a useful backup in case phone batteries collapse. It's great that the library carries the full set.
