Here's looking at you, kid.

We went to H's birthday party this evening, held at her son's house. He has a small house in a very large park. Among the human guests mingled dogs, chickens, and a trio of curious goats. They were very friendly and trotted up to push their noses into the lens when I crouched to take photos of them.

Unfortunately it was an overcast, muggy evening, and after dark the sky was constantly illuminated with flashes of lightning. We even had a few drops of rain, causing everyone to retreat under the large tent. But it wasn't cold ("only" 25C), so it didn't spoil the evening.
