Mapua is a small settlement between Motueka and Nelson, NZ.

We were there this morning to meet friends for coffee. The blue sky and sunshine were perfect, but the temperature was much cooler than normal.

Standing on the wharf this photo is looking towards Tasman Bay.

In extra, one photo is looking up the channel towards Waimea Inlet and the autistically distorted  tree is at Grossi Point, a nearby picnic area and where the locals launch their run-about boats.
