and only hidden in the tallest flowers did i see my first stationary dragonfly. Gorgeous day at Sherborne Castle, the weather was a little bit Jekyll and Hyde but we had our walk round the lake and tour round the castle which had been owned by Sir Walter Raleigh himself until the Digby's took over after that little bit of treason Mr R got himself executed for. The Digby's have done a grand job keeping the place and surrounding (garden by Lancelot "Capability" Brown) acreage beautiful for visitors to enjoy. AND the coffee and cake and worth treating yourself to aswell.
