Mallards

An early lunch as we had to be at Great Dunmow for 1pm for my husband to have a walking test. He was referred last May to have today’s walking test and then twice a week for six weeks of specific exercises. Then another walking test at the end.
 
Today’s picture is of four Mallards on the grass. They were all cleaning their feathers, but at no time were all of their heads raised at the same time!
 
Temperature today.  Another sharp frost this morning. At noon it was twelve degrees and reached fourteen degrees during the afternoon.
