Liminal Space

Today's "mustn't get it wrong" job was up at the burial ground, marking out a new cremated remains plot for tomorrow. I have another one on Saturday, so I'll be up again after tomorrow's interment to make sure that goes in the right place too. Big mess to put right if it goes wrong.

Agenda published for next week's full parish council meeting, and instantly the next big planning application dropped into my in-tray. Ah well. The other, slightly smaller one, will have been determined today. Like King Canute we did our best to hold back the worst of the unsustainable elements, but the tide flows ever on...

So that was effectively the only photograph I took today... well, ok, several others of the plot, showing it in relation to the other in use burial plots, but you're not interested in those. I've used Tangled FX to create a somewhat graveyard-ish effect of what is after all a liminal space, honouring the past into the future.
