litl hikes

A frosty start to the day but the temperature reached 15°C in the afternoon. I wasn’t defrosting the car so it was a lazy morning (I’ve had a few busy days) then a drive to Windermere for cheese and cooked meats from Booths. I was recognised in the store by someone (much younger than me) I bumped into. I’d stopped suddenly at the end of an aisle to look at a jam display and she came around the corner to find me blocking the route. I hadn’t a clue but as soon as she said Donna I knew. We had a short chat, still blocking the aisle.

I took a chance on going down to Bowness to look for a blip. I was very, very lucky and found a parking space. Couldn’t stay long as I didn’t want my purchases to get warm.
