Dad had an afternoon appointment at Eastbourne Hospital today for an ultrasound scan. He was anxious all day and upset about having to miss lunch. My sister said she would arrive about 2pm and Dad wanted to leave straight away. We took his mind off things with a game of cards.

The appointment went well, was on time and only lasted about 20 minutes. I am writing this on the A22 as Dad eats the sandwich we packed for him. He is a happier man now.

The radiologist suspected that I might have some medical knowledge so he helpfully talked me through the scan. It looks as though the main finding was gallbladder sludge :-)
