I thought I'd lost all of my Celandine plants this year, but a walk around the garden earlier and I noticed there were a few coming into flower.   
A friend visited this morning and stayed for lunch, it was good to have a catch up, and we sat out in the garden enjoying the sunshine which was lovely.  We watched the Blue and Great Tit's making numerous visits to the nest boxes with a varied assortment of materials.   It was great  to see our first two butterflies of the year, a Brimstone and a very dark coloured one that was moving so quickly we couldn't identify it.
