Egret

Sometimes I do annoy myself!  I went down to the coast this morning in blindingly beautiful sunlight and got what should have been lovely shots of a curlew, but why do I always go when the sun's so wickedly bright and you have to shoot against it?  It makes the quality of any shots irrecoverable.  Oh, silly me   ;(((

Still, I did see this egret on the marshes as opposed to on the shore (so I had my back to the sun).  And yes, I could just as well have seen an egret five minutes from home, but at least this one was putting on a bit of a display which I rather loved.

Got back at lunchtime and have done very little since except sift today's shots..  Tomorrow I will have to get down to the boring stuff of life a bit more..
