Dad saw the physiotherapist this afternoon and she's not happy with the way he's using the crutches and is getting another physiotherapist to come in and work on his exercises with him. I was very brave and didn't stay at the care home after dropping off Dad's crutches. I wanted to be there as I always am for his appointments, but I don't live at the home and the carers need to be there to encourage him to do his exercises. I'm not there every day. It's time for me to take a step back and for the home to step up and be the support he needs.

After a good day with the girls, the grump that is my husband came home at 3:15 and grumped his way through the afternoon/evening. He's definitely having his 'time of the month'!
