Mini daffodils

A warm morning.  Did some handwashing and put it out to dry. 

It's been even more noisy in the road today with roofers at one house opposite and scaffolders opposite.  So many vehicles too.  We never seem to have a fallow spell on work being done in our road.

Headed off to meet bestie Anna at John Lewis's Ori Cafe at 10.30.  Had a delicious, mellow coffee and a great catch-up.

Took hound for a sunny walk after lunch.  Ditched coat and substituted a denim shirt instead.  Hazy cloud drifted over by the end of our walk.

Made a pasta sauce with fresh spinach and broad beans for two nights' dinners.

Caught up with watching Strike last night. 

The week has whizzed by again.  Sonny the Monday market bread stallholder joked that days are yesterday and that from Monday to the following Monday is tomorrow.  Glad I'm not the only one experiencing time flying.
