Deadman's Bay
We've done well with the weather on this trip, especially considering this is Wales. Today was a bit of a change though. We headed down to the Marloes peninsula, out to the Deer Park. I don't know why it's called that. Maybe there were some deer kept behind the wall in a past age.
Deadman's Bay is a lovely cove with big jagged rocks rocks that would surely bring tragic consequences to the unwary sailor. The wind was blowing so strongly today that it was very difficult to hold a tripod still for a long exposure. The sun was blindingly bright and between the two things it made life difficult for a photographer. On the other side of the cove away from the bright light, I feared the wind might take me over the edge!
The rain came in early in the afternoon so we didn't go out for a sunset shoot but walked into St Davids for a pint before supper.
I've added a couple of extras showing different aspects of this coastline.
