The olden days

I have a fondness for old painted signs and lettering. This is at the rear of what used to be the Victoria Park House Hotel. It's been a hotel for at least 50 years, but was built as a house for a glass merchant in the late 19th century. Today it seems to be closed, and maybe used as an HMO? No real idea but it's not in great shape, whatever is going on.
