Pàrlamaid na h-Alba

March 6

Our local SNP branch had arranged a visit to the Scottish Parliament today to watch First Minister’s Questions and then tour the building. It was a beautiful day to be out and about. We caught the bus up to Edinburgh and had tea in Clarinda’s before our visit. I’m glad we’d allowed lots of time as there was a lot of security to go through. We had lunch together in Loudon’s after our visit and then I went off to meet Mr P (lovely walk up the High St and through Princes Street Gardens). In the evening we met our Musselburgh chums at a Vietnamese restaurant in Tollcross and then we all went to the Traverse Theatre to see The Testament of Gideon Mack. I enjoyed it but preferred the book.
