Glasgow Cathedral from the Necropolis

Had a self-conducted tour of this interesting graveyard this afternoon. Found the memorial to the author of the well-known rhyme/children's song "Wee Willie Winkie" which he wrote for his son. One or two interesting stories associated with the monuments and mausoleums.
I was reminded of the inscription (not that I saw it here)
"Remember man, as you pass by,
As you are now so once was I.
As I am now, soon you will be.
Prepare for death and follow me." (last line has variations)

Great views for the living, south over the brewery to Lanarkshire's wind-powered turbines on the horizon.
