Rice

I meant to blip this a couple of days ago. The woman in the photo is sweeping her rice to make it dry more quickly. In the countryside, everyone puts their rice right on the road to dry: the heat of the road dries it from below as well as above and everyone knows to drive around the rice, which can cover hundreds of yards at a time.
