ambling home

slept really well in the van for the first time - and after packing up we headed to dornoch for a wander around the touristy shops then a quick jaunt to the beach.

then we headed home - taking our time, enjoying all the appreciation directed at ella along the way and stopping off at the black isle brewery for a tour and taster session. we then trundled on to spey bay (to the horror of beth who thought we were going to camp there...a complete meltdown ensued) for a walk along the pebbly beach and to watch the salmon leaping at the mouth of the spey. beth spotted a bloke on the beach that she convinced herself was noel fielding...so she sprinted off to get a closer look, only to be hugely disappointed when faced with a lumpy ageing goth in black drainpipes... ah, I suppose that's what happens when you visit beaches near elgin.

then home...nice to see dougal, but I'm missing being away already.
