Daughter’s Duty

Think l’ve mentioned before that Rebecca made a promise to her dad that she would always bring me flowers on our wedding anniversary when he no longer could.
So on Wednesday she dutifully brought me a spring bouquet containing my favourite white ranunculus, white tulips, blue hyacinth and paperwhites.
Waited until Flower Friday to show them. 

Also an extra of the tulips l brought back from London two weeks ago, so unusual with petals of pink, gold and green.

Going over to Calder Valley later today to stay with Tim and Adele.
This evening we are going to the venue where they are having their wedding reception in May to discuss finer points of the menu and other details which will help the day be a happy one.
