The pensive moments diving in to old memories always seems to be bathed in yellow or bottle green. The light is fractured from glass and fuzzed out. It’s the impression from old pictures. Is the technology a primary factor in how we see our memories?

Old Kodak / Fuji film photo processing has a lot to do with how I retain memories from my childhood despite the distinct clarity of my vision at the time. My last 10 years are transfixed to Instagram filters and pixels without tangibility.

In those instances, the unremarkable vividly comes alive.
