At last!

I've waited for ages and at last amaryllis no1 is very close to flowering ..... the other 4 have a bit to go. The plant is so tall that I had to take the pot off the window sill and put it on the floor before any photo was possible.

Hall carpet shampooed and not before time ..... the waste water in the Vax was embarrassingly dirty. Why, oh why did I not do it weeks ago?
