A Treat

One of my friend comes to us for tea this weekend. I haven't seen her maybe in a couple of years. We don't live too far from each others, however. My life has only been so full of other things (as you have "heard"). Last autumn we agreed with the friend to meet here in our temporary home before we leave this. Now it begins to be quite hurry :0  

Anyway I wanted to bake something (for ourselves too...), and decided to try to make a modified version of date cake. I ended up with apricot. It seems to work out on the surfafe, but I don't know if it's cooked enough inside. We'll taste (and eat) it for sure, already today :)
