Bud on a large exotic in Penlee Park

With a bit of checking on Google I discovered that this is Beschorneria yuccoides, a member of the agave family and a native of Mexico and central America. It's growing in the memorial garden in Penlee Park. I like its sculptural form and its colours. This is for Flower Friday, thank you Anni BikerBear for hosting.
