Keep moving....

Took Banjo for a morning walk before work this morning .

For the first time since the Earthquakes I went up the Bridle Path, which is a walk up to the top of the hill just near our place that we used to do all the time.It is a historic walkway, as it leads up and over to Lytlleton on the other side.

Pre- EQ's there was never thought to be any danger up there, but during the shakes there were huge rockfalls, and the area was closed off to the public for a long time, and even now that it is re-opened I think alot of people are nervous of going up there just in case we get more shakes and rock movement.....those rocks are huge, and some people who were up in the hills on the day of the major EQ were injured by them.

Anyway, I went up this morning, lovely to get up there again, the track is in great condition ( it is a walking track not for vehicles), and there are these very clear signs there at certain points to warn you of the risks!
